UK Expedition

We can offer different experiences in the mountains:

* Classic routes in Wales, Lake District and the Peak District.

* Custom days out to lesser known areas, away from the crowds!

We can also organise ‘surprise’ days out, just let us know what area you wish to visit and we’ll organise the rest giving you an alternative to the usual tourist routes.  Whatever your ambition is we’ll look to fulfil it.

Events / Special Occasions

Aspire 2 Summit can provide corporate events in the UK to organisations for the purposes of team building, away days and charity fundraising. We're flexible in what we do and can tailor each day to your specifications.

We can offer the following activities -

* Mountain Day - Ben Nevis summit challenge.

* Mountain Day - Snowdon summit challenge.

* Mountain Day – Scafell Pike summit challenge.

* Team building days - navigation, climbing, abseil challenges.

We promise to provide a challenging and rewarding day!

Three Peaks Challenge

We also organise 3 peaks challenges with experienced mountain leaders to provide the additional advice and support you may need, allowing you to concentrate on the walking!

Participants need to be of reasonable fitness in order to achieve the 24 hour goal.

Overview -

Attempting the Three Peaks is a very demanding both physically and mentally, walking a total of 42km in a 24 hr period.  Mainly run during the summer months to take full advantage of longer days.  Thanks to the UK weather, expect to be out in nearly all conditions – including snow on the summit of Ben Nevis.

Ben Nevis – Ben Nevis is the UK’s highest mountain at 1344m above sea level and located within the Grampian Mountains, Scotland.  On the summit are the ruins of an observatory used between 1883 and 1904. There is also an emergency shelter for walkers caught out by the unpredictable mountain weather systems and maritime location.

Scafell Pike – Is England’s highest mountain at 978m above sea level and located within the Lake District National Park, Cumbria.  The most popular route to the summit is via Wasdale Head at the north of Wastwater.  Scafell Pike is arguably the hardest mountain to ascent of the three by the sheer steepness of the route and rocky / boulder field of a summit not making for easy going.

Snowdon – Is the highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085 metres above sea level and located within the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The most popular route for completing the Three Peaks Challenge is via the Pyg or Miners track to the summit and then descending to Llanberis via the Llanberis path.  Snowdon also has its own railway which opened in 1896 and runs from Llanberis to the newly rebuilt visitor’s centre at the summit (not that you’ll be using it!).

Itinerary -

Ben Nevis – 1344m; start at 1700hrs via Tourist Route returning at 2200 hrs.
Scafell Pike – 978m; start from Wasdale Head around 0430 hrs returning at 0830 hrs.

Snowdon – 1085m; start Pen y Pass around 1330 hrs and finishing in Llanberis hopefully within the 24 timescale.

Support Team -

We will arrange transport, local collection along primary routes and all logistics will be covered.  All staff utilised for the challenge are Mountain Leader and First Aid qualified and have extensive knowledge of the mountains and years of experience mountaineering.
