challenges

UK 3 Peaks Challenge

Summit the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. This is very demanding both physically and mentally, walking a total of 42km in a 24 or 48 hour period.  Mainly held during the summer months to take full advantage of longer days.  Thanks to the UK weather, expect to be out in nearly all conditions – including the possibility of snow on the summit of Ben Nevis.  All transport from a central location, logistics and support will be provided.

Yorkshire 3 Peaks

This is a challenge completed in one day.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is a circular walking challenge normally starting and finishing in Horton – in – Ribblesdale, and summits the three highest peaks in Yorkshire: Pen-y-Ghent (691m), Whernside (728m), and Ingleborough (723m). The total distance walked is 37.5 km (23.5 miles), with the aim of completing the challenge in less than 12 hours.

This is a long and demanding walk, with a total climb of some 5,200 feet. Ideally walkers should have an average to good standard of fitness and stamina.

Hadrians Wall

This is a challenge completed in 2 days.

The challenge involves a 25 mile walk along the Unesco World Heritage site. We walk along what is considered to be the most scenic and interesting sections of the wall passing the remnants of Roman forts and buildings.

This walk is suitable for people of all abilities but we would advise that a certain amount of training is done before hand.
